Kalogon, an early stage startup based in Melbourne, seeks a full-time sewing machine operator to make custom covers for wheelchair seat cushions and specialty covers for cushions for the Air Force. This role is ideal for someone looking to use their industrial sewing skills in a fast-paced and casual environment.
Required skills:
- Able to meet production deadlines while meeting quality standards
- Eye for detail
- Skilled at operating sewing machines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn inspection standards for medical-grade products.
- Ability to work independently and follow written instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to complete digital forms or reports.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-focused mindset.
- Ideally: familiar with upholstery work
